International Men day

On the occasion of International Men's Day, the SBSA ladies, as they do annually, gave some special treatment to the male members of staff. In view that we are in exam time, all men were relieved from exam invigilation by a female colleague. This was followed mid-morning by a special breakfast organised by the ladies during which songs and poems were dedicated to the male members of staff.

This year's theme for International Men's Day is “Positive Male Role Models” and the SBSA ladies wanted to highlight the fact that we have some positive role models on our team; men who are helping to mould the young men at the academy, teaching them about the values, character and responsibilities of being a man, and who are doing so with an optimism and dedication that is to be commended. SBSA men are really appreciated, not only by the students, but also by the other staff members for their dedication and support through the working day.
